Every year, West Bengal comes up with the SSC results through the West Bengal School Service Commission that is established since 1997.
This was established for the purpose of recruitment of teachers and headmasters in non-government schools.
At the same time, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education announces standard tenth results every year.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education comes out with the results of Madhyamik Pariksha every year.
The Board was established in 1951 under an Act of the State Legislature called the West Bengal Secondary Education Act of 1950.

The Bihar School Examination Board is established for holding and conducting examination at the termination of the Secondary School stage.

The National Institute of Open Schooling formerly known as National Open School (NOS) was established in 1989.
This is an autonomous organization which is partly funded by the Government of India. There are numerous programmes and courses that are offered by the organization that offer elementary education for school drop-outs and neo-literates.

West Bengal Board of Examination conducts the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE).
The students who appear for this examination and appear in the merit rank list of WB – JEE get admission to the BE degree programs which are available across 54 engineering colleges within the state of West Bengal.
These colleges offer a range of courses in of engineering.

Every year, the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) comes out with the results of HSC (standard tenth) and HSSC (standard twelfth).

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University was established by the Government of NCT of Delhi.
The University was established under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998.
The admissions to various programmes that are available in the University are based on the merit that a candidate attains in the entrance exam called CET.
